To reach the Orchard, take the footpath from Staplegrove Road immediately next to the access to Turner's Allotments (there is a finger post sign) and follow the path past the end of the allotments until you reach the Orchard site. This route is usually accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs. It is about 750 metres from the road.

Alternative access is available from adjoining Home Cottages/Roseberry Terrace at the end of Richmond Road

As always the event will commence with the lighting of the Bonfire and the serving of apple cake & drinks (mulled cider, apple juice, cider) The official business will be performed by the Wassail Queen aided by the Lord of Misrule and don’t forget that everyone is expected to make a contribution by banging sticks and singing the wassail song (words here)

The celebration will be completed by a performance by the Bishopswood Mummers and Border Morris Dancers.

The Committee have prepared a Risk Assesment for the event.
